The Fotomarathon is a challenge for photographers. Long story short: 12 photos for 12 topics need to be taken in 12 hours.
The rules:
At the end of the day you have to submit exactly 12 photos – not more not less. The photos must be taken in the order specified – there is time control and anti-manipulation software. No post-editing.
There is an overall theme, this time it was “Gestern war heute – Yesterday was today”. It is recommended that you keep that theme in mind when you start taking photos for the particular topics. It is also recommended that the final series of 12 pictures has kind of a thread, so that the pictures are related to each other.
I have to say that I failed to follow those recommendations…. is is really a difficult task and one can only learn and improve the personal photographic skills. Anyway here is my final series (the topics were given like this in German and English):
